Joseph Badger Schools Working for our Community
Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, the Joseph Badger School District applied for and received Ohio’s Core Curriculum Grant. This grant totals $24,055 and is being utilized for more rigorous teaching of both the Math and Science disciplines. We will be analyzing middle school and high school test scores and offering Math and Science Intervention to low performing students, students at risk of not meeting a proficient or basic level of performance on the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT).
This Grant was discontinued by the Ohio Department of Education for the 2008-2009 school year.
Addressing our students’ academic needs is a major component of our Joseph Badger School Community Advisory Mission Statement: “Positively changing the world…one student at a time because tomorrow’s world starts right here.”
Total Grants Received for 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013
The following is a list of Federal and State Grants your school district applied for and received. These monies provide additional services for our students. This district will continue to pursue grant dollars whenever possible for our community. A public hearing was held August 17, 2012 to provide stakeholders the opportunity to discuss federal program.
